As many or few as you’d like. Blast from the Past is a company which provides musicians for clients rather than a band, so we’re not obliged to use a specific number of musicians. We can supply you with anything from a duo up to a six-piece depending on your budget and wishes. Click here to meet our musicians!

The short answer is that it depends on when you want to book us! August Bank Holiday is generally dearer than a Tuesday in February, for example. However, a guide price would be £150 per musician plus travel expenses and accomodation if apllicable. We’re based in Warwickshire and love doing local gigs!

In a physical sense – a large variety of period-specific instruments which we play to a high standard and of which we have an in-depth knowledge. We can also bring a tent or awning from which to perform, which provides a focal point for audiences, and we play in high-quailty historical attire. In a less physical sense – we bring a passion for music and history which audiences of all ages find infectious!

Yes – although we’ve found that it’s almost always more productive for us, the client and the audience if there’s some sort of timetable to the day. A timetable, however loose, means that the musicians and the client are both clear on when performances and breaks should take place and also allows audience members to plan their day. Our performances don’t have to be rooted in one space, however – we can be as mobile as you want us to be!

Yes. We started out in 2005 as a medieval banquet company, cut our teeth at the Tales of Robin Hood in Nottingham and a sizeable chunk of our annual work involves providing musicians for corporate entertainment at Warwick Castle.
